Alice Ripley is an American stage, film, and television actor, as well as a singer, songwriter, and mixed media artist. She is known, in particular, for her various roles on Broadway in musicals, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal and Side Show. Ripley plays the lead in the new film, SUGAR!, which just wrapped shooting. SUGAR! will feature a soundtrack with songs sung by Ripley. Ripley's film, Bear With Us, also recently wrapped, and another film, Muckland, comes out this year. Next up is the short film, The Way I Remember It, slated to film this fall. Ripley's film, Isn't It Delicious, continues to make the rounds of the festival circuit, winning awards at the Rainier, Tupelo, and Manhattan film festivals. Ripley also stars in the 2013 short film, Sing Along. Alice Ripley has written and produced albums with her band, RIPLEY. The single, "Beautiful Eyes", was released in February 2012. She performs as a solo artist, as well, most recently presenting two concert series, "Ripley Reflects" and "Alice Imagines", at the New York City venue, 54 Below.
