Juliette Kaplan is a British actress, real name Marlene Hoser. She is most famous for playing the role of Pearl in the BBC comedy Last of the Summer Wine, from 1985 to 2010. She also did a tour around British theatres in a one actor show, performing as Pearl. She is the mother of three children Mark, Perrina & Tania as well as grandmother to two girls Alice and Georgie. She has also appeared in many British drama series including Doctors, Brookside, EastEnders and London's Burning. She also appeared in the film, The Death of Klinghoffer. Juliette appeared in Last of the Summer Wine from 1985 until the very final episode on 29 August 2010. She lives in the seaside town of Westgate-on-Sea in Kent. She appeared in pantomime in December 2008/January 2009 as the Wicked Queen in Snow White at the Empire Theatre, Consett.
